Social Skills & Friendships

Supporting peer interaction, group participation, conversation skills, perspective-taking, emotional awareness and confidence in social settings.

Making and keeping friends draws on a whole range of skills: reading social cues, taking turns in conversation, managing feelings and joining in. Some children need support and practice to feel confident with others.
