All servicesSchool Readiness & Participation
Supporting the skills children need for learning environments, including attention, transitions, routines, sitting, following instructions, self-care and peer interaction.
Starting or settling into school asks a lot of a child all at once: sitting, listening, following routines, managing self-care and getting along with others. A little support can make this transition far smoother.
What it can look like
- Finding it hard to sit, attend or follow group instructions
- Struggling with transitions and classroom routines
- Difficulty with self-care like toileting, eating or dressing at school
- Feeling anxious or overwhelmed in the classroom
How we can help
We build the practical, sensory and social skills children need to participate and feel confident at school, and we work alongside educators to set up supportive routines and environments.
