Play Skills
Helping children develop purposeful play, imagination, problem-solving, shared attention, turn-taking and confidence engaging with others.
Play is how children learn about the world, practise new skills and connect with others. When play is harder to access, it can affect development, learning and friendships.
What it can look like
- Difficulty starting, sustaining or expanding play
- Preferring to play alone or in very repetitive ways
- Trouble with sharing, turn-taking or joining others
- Finding imaginative or open-ended play hard
How we can help
We meet your child where they are and gently grow their play, building imagination, problem-solving, shared attention and the social skills that help them connect and have fun with others.
