Sensory Processing & Integration

Sensory-informed assessment and therapy for sensory processing differences, sensory seeking or avoiding, and regulation challenges, provided by an Ayres Sensory Integration® qualified occupational therapist.

Every child takes in the world through their senses: sound, touch, movement, sight, taste and smell. When that sensory information feels too big, too little, or hard to organise, everyday moments like getting dressed, sitting at the dinner table or coping with a noisy classroom can become a real challenge. Sensory processing is a core focus of our practice, supported through Ayres Sensory Integration®.

What it can look like

How we can help

As an Ayres Sensory Integration® qualified occupational therapist, we start by understanding how your child experiences the world, then build a practical, sensory-informed plan together. That might include calming and alerting strategies, changes to the home or classroom environment, and activities that help your child feel more regulated and ready to participate.
